Frontend Engineer
The people who use Navon are estimators, PMs, and finance leads, not software enthusiasts. You make the platform something they trust at a glance and reach for without thinking.
All roles
Remote or New York City officeFull-time
What you will own
- Design and build the operator-facing surfaces of the platform: dashboards, approval queues, records, and the flows between them.
- Own quality end to end: interaction design, motion, accessibility, and the front-end code that ships it.
- Turn dense operational data into interfaces a non-technical operator reads correctly the first time.
- Keep the design system coherent as the platform grows, so every new surface feels like the same product.
- Work directly with forward-deployed engineers and clients to see how your interfaces survive contact with real work.
What we are looking for
- Strong front-end engineering: modern React, TypeScript, and CSS you are proud of.
- A portfolio of shipped interfaces with real users, and opinions formed by watching them.
- Taste under constraint: enterprise-grade restraint over decoration.
- Able to go from ambiguous problem to shipped interface without a handoff chain.
Nice to have
- Experience designing for operational or data-heavy products.
- Motion and interaction depth (framer-motion or similar).
- Next.js and design-system experience.
What you get
- Remote or our New York City office.
- Your work is the product the client sees; the craft bar is the point.
- A short path from decision to production.
Equity
Meaningful equity in the company. We discuss compensation directly once we are in conversation.
